This standard is a revision of JBT54904-93 "Shell-type end mills product quality classification". Since its product standard has been revised, this standard has revised the corresponding clauses of JB/T54904—93. This standard replaces JB/T54904—93 from the date of implementation. This standard specifies the AQL value of the shell end mills when the quality grade is evaluated according to JB/T54854, the RQL value of the periodic stability assessment, the classification of non-conformities and the life test. This standard is applicable to the quality grade assessment and periodic stability assessment of the shell end mills produced in batches according to GB/T1114.1~1114.2. 2 Referenced Standards

5 Classification and grouping of non-conformities
Classification and grouping of non-conformities shall be in accordance with Table 3

Test conditions
Comply with standard requirements:

6.1.2 Tool: Sample size n=3-5 pieces. 6.1.3 Test damage: The material is 40Cr steel, quenched and tempered, with a hardness of 200~220HB. Cutting specification: as specified in Table 5 and Figure 1.
