Subject Content and Scope of Application
This standard specifies the type and dimensions of wire and cable bundle twisting equipment. JB/T5817.2—91
This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture, acceptance, identification and quality assessment of bundle twisting equipment for twisting conductors and cable cores of wires and cables.
This standard should be used together with JB/T5814.3 "Basic Parameters of Special Equipment for Wires and Cables Part 3 2 Models
The model of the bundle twisting machine is shown in Table 1.

3.1 General dimensions

3.1.1 The dimensions of the pay-off reel and the take-up reel shall comply with the provisions of GB4004 and GB4005. The technical requirements of the PND type reel shall comply with the provisions of JB/DQ8193.
3.1.2 The dimensions of the pay-off device are to be determined.
