GB/T5480 "Test methods for mineral wool and its products" is divided into 7 parts: Part 1: General principles;
Part 2: Verticality and flatness;
-Part 3: Size and density;
Part 4: Average fiber diameter;
Part 5: Slag shot content;
-Part 6: Acidity coefficient;
Part 7: Hygroscopicity.
This part is Part 1 of GB/T5480. bzxZ.net
This part replaces GB/T5480.1-1985 "General principles for test methods for mineral wool and its products". Compared with GB/T5480.1-1985, the main changes of this part are as follows: GB/T5480.1-2004
adds referenced standards, cites GB/T4132-1996 "Insulating Materials and Related Terms", and adds standard terms of referenced standards in accordance with the provisions of GB/T1.1-2000 (see 2 of this edition); the definitions of terms in this part are deleted and adjusted, the definitions of terms existing in GB/T4132-1996 and no longer used in GB/T5480 are deleted, and the terms and definitions such as hygroscopicity, end perpendicularity, right-angle deviation and flatness are added (Appendix A of the 1985 edition, 3 of this edition); the requirements for the test environment are modified, and the tests can be carried out in a test environment of normal temperature and humidity, and the test items with special requirements for the laboratory environment conditions should be indicated in the corresponding test methods. If the laboratory environment conditions are not specified, the test can be carried out in the natural environment of the laboratory. The recommended environment conditions are room temperature 16℃~28℃ and relative humidity 30%~~80% (2.1 of the 1985 edition; 4.1 of this edition); the adjustment of the sample state has been modified. The original version stipulates that the sample needs to be placed freely in the test environment for 24 hours before testing. It is changed to use different state adjustment methods to distinguish different test items (2.2 of the 1985 edition; 4.2 of this edition); the sampling method has been deleted (3.1, 3.2, 3.3 of the 1985 edition); the sample selection method has been modified, and the sampling order and random sampling should be specified when cutting the sample to ensure that the test data is representative (3.4 of the 1985 edition; 5 of this edition). Please note that some contents of this standard may involve patents. The issuing organization of this standard shall not bear the responsibility for identifying these patents. This part is proposed by the China Building Materials Industry Association. This part is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Thermal Insulation Materials (SAC/TC191). This part was drafted by Nanjing Fiberglass Research and Design Institute. The main drafters of this part are Wang Jiaqing and Ge Dunshi. This part was first published in October 1985. 1 Scope
Test methods for mineral wool and its products
Part 1: General
GB/T 5480. 1--2004
This part specifies the terms and definitions, test conditions, sample selection and test records for the test methods for mineral wool and its products. This part is applicable to the test methods for various properties of glass wool, rock wool, slag wool, aluminum silicate wool and their products for thermal insulation and sound absorption. Other similar thermal insulation materials can also be used as references.
2 Normative references
The clauses in the following documents become the clauses of this part through reference in this part. For all dated referenced documents, all subsequent amendments (excluding errata) or revisions are not applicable to this part. However, parties to agreements based on this part are encouraged to study whether the latest versions of these documents can be used. For any undated referenced document, the latest version shall apply to this part. GB/T4132-1996 Thermal insulation materials and related terms 3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions established in GB/T4132--1996 and the following terms and definitions apply to this part. 3.1
Basic material
Mineral wool products do not include the base material of the veneer part. 3.2
Coefficient of acidity
Coefficient of acidity
The ratio of the sum of the mass fractions of silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide to the sum of the mass fractions of calcium oxide and magnesium oxide in the chemical composition of mineral wool and its products.
Corner squareness
The verticality of the two adjacent sides of the pressed surface of the sample. 3.4
End surface verticality
Edge squareness
The verticality of the end surface of the sample to the pressed surface. 3.5
Face trueness
Flatness
Degree of warpage on the pressed surface of mineral wool board.
Mineral wool board (slab) is a plate-like product with a certain rigidity made of mineral wool with a binder applied. 3.7
Mineral wool mat (blanket) is a low-density roll or foldable flexible felt-like product made of mineral wool. GB/T 5480.1—2004
Mineral wool products are products with a certain shape, such as veneered and unveneered felts, boards, shells, belts, ropes, etc., made of mineral wool. 3.9
Mineral wool roll
A flexible mat, pad or felt-like product made of mineral wool and supplied in roll or cylindrical packaging. 3.10
Semi-rigid mineral wool board (slab) is a plate-like product made of mineral wool that is elastic and bendable. 3.11
Granular, blocky and rod-like materials of mineral wool that have not been made into fibers. 3.12
Specimen
Specimens taken from the sample and prepared for testing in accordance with the prescribed method. 3.13
The moisture absorption property of a material in humid air that absorbs moisture in the air. 3.14
Unit product
The basic unit divided for the needs of implementing sampling inspection. 4 Test conditions
4.1 Test environment
Test items with special requirements for laboratory environmental conditions should be indicated in the corresponding test methods. If the laboratory environmental conditions are not indicated, they can be carried out in the natural environment of the laboratory. The recommended environmental conditions are room temperature 16℃~28℃ and relative humidity 30%~~80%. 4.2 Conditioning of samples
4.2.1 Before testing test items such as hygroscopicity, non-flammability and thermal conductivity, the samples should be dried and pre-treated. 4.2.2 During testing of test items such as moisture content, the temperature and humidity of the test room environment should be recorded. 4.2.3 Other tests can be started immediately after the samples arrive at the test room, and the samples do not need to be conditioned before the test. 5 Selection of samples
5.1 The samples required for each test item shall be taken from the whole product or randomly cut from it in order from the largest to the smallest according to their specified size. 5.2 The two samples required for the thermal conductivity of the double test piece shall be cut from the adjacent area of the same product. If the area of a single product is too small to cut two samples, they can be cut from the two products with the closest density. 5.3 For other test items, samples should be selected from different single products as much as possible. 5.4 When cutting samples for test items with smaller specified sample sizes, they can be cut from the remaining parts of samples taken from other test items. Sample cutting should be randomly distributed in all areas and cannot be randomly concentrated in the same range. 5.5 Unless the test item has no effect on the specific performance of the product, the test sample should not be used for other test items. 6 Test record
The test record shall at least include the following contents:
a) Name of the test item;
Name, number and quantity of the sample;
Test basis standard;
Test data and results;
Abnormal conditions observed during the test;
Test personnel and date;
Test method and instrument;
Other conditions that need to be explained.
