This standard is a revision of GB/T5015-1985 "Elastic Pin Gear Coupling". The main changes of this standard compared with GB/T5015-1985 are as follows: the nominal torque and allowable speed have been readjusted and slightly improved; the coupling model has been modified according to GB/T12458 "Coupling Classification"; - some external dimensions have been changed, and the dimensions that must be available when selecting couplings have been added; the original Appendix A "Selection Instructions for Elastic Pin Gear Couplings" has been deleted. This standard was proposed and managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Machine Shafts and Accessories. The drafting units of this standard: Mechanical Science Research Institute, Deyang Erzhong Basic Parts Factory. The main drafters of this standard: Ming Cuixin, Wang Jiannong, Gao Wen, Liu Xueguang. The previous versions of the standards replaced by this standard are: - GB/T5015-1985.

1 Scope
Elastic pin-tooth coupling
GB/T 5015—2003
This standard specifies the types, basic parameters and main dimensions of LZ, LZD, LZJ and LZZ elastic pin-tooth couplings (hereinafter referred to as couplings), and gives technical requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage. This standard is applicable to transmission shaft systems that connect two coaxial lines, and has the performance of compensating the relative offset of the two shafts and general vibration reduction. The working temperature is -20℃~+70℃, and the nominal torque transmitted is 112N·m~2800000N·m. 2 Normative references
