This standard is based on the requirements of the State Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision to clean up and rectify national standards. The original national standard GB6295.3--1986 "Clip, twist and shear dual-purpose pliers with bladed long-nosed pliers" was changed to an industry standard (this standard was issued by the State Light Industry Bureau [19997112] and converted to QB/T3853.3-1999, the content is the same as before). This standard is based on the original national standard GB6295.3-1986, and is formulated with reference to the international standard ISO5745:1988 "Clip and shear pliers-Dimensions and test values ​​of pliers", and the "A" and "B" classifications of the bending strength and shearing force of the pliers handle in the original national standard are cancelled.
This standard will replace GB6295.3-1986 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed by the Industry Management Department of the State Bureau of Light Industry. This standard is owned by the National Tool Hardware Standardization Center. The responsible drafting unit of this standard is Shanghai Tool Industry Research Institute, and the participating drafting units are Shandong Weifang Pliers Factory, Sichuan Mianyang Tool Factory and Anhui Tool General Factory.

4.3 Mouth top gap
