1 Subject Content and Scope of Application
This standard specifies the series and basic parameters of wire and cable braiding equipment. JB/T5814.791
This standard applies to braiding machines for braiding metal and non-metal shielding layers or sheaths of wires and cables, as well as braiding hollow copper braiding sleeves. Braiding machines to which this standard applies can also be used to braid various non-metallic round or flat wires, belts and ropes, etc. 2 Models
The series models of braiding machines are shown in Table 1.
The product marking of braiding machines shall be specified in their type and size standards. 2.2
