Some standard content:
GB/T6005—1997
This standard is a revision of GB6005—85 based on the international standard ISO565:1990 "Test sieves—Metallic wire mesh, perforated plate and electroformed sheet—Basic dimensions of sieve holes", and is equivalent to the international standard in terms of technical content. This standard will replace GB6005-85 from the date of entry into force. This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Machinery Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Sieve Screening Standardization. The drafting units of this standard are: the Machinery Standardization Research Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry, the State-owned No. 540 Factory, and the State-owned No. 9699 Factory. ISOForeword
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide joint organization composed of national standard bodies (ISO member bodies) of various countries. The work of developing international standards is carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member body has the right to participate in the committee if it is interested in the project carried out by a technical committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, related to ISO, may also participate in this work. ISO has close ties with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) in the field of electrotechnical standardization. Draft international standards adopted by technical committees are circulated to all member groups for voting. The formal publication of international standards requires at least 75% of the member groups to vote.
ISO565:1990 was proposed by ISO/TC24 Technical Committee on Sieve, Screening and Other Particle Sorting Methods. The third edition of this standard replaces the second edition (IS0565:1983), and the third edition includes technical revisions. 182

This standard specifies the basic sizes of openings of metal wire cloth, perforated metalplate and electroformed sheet as screening media for test sieves. In this standard, the basic sizes of openings of metal wire cloth and electroformed sheet, which are less than or equal to 32um, adopt R10 series as the main size series.
In view of the small interval between adjacent basic sizes less than 32um, the selection of basic sizes in the R'10 series is restricted.
The ratio between adjacent sizes in the series is shown in Table 1. Table 1
Percentage of difference
About 40%
About 25%
About 19%
About 12%
It is recommended to use the main size series as much as possible. However, if a denser sieve size series is required, one series should be selected from the two supplementary size series R20 or R40/3, and it is not allowed to select from both at the same time. 2 Definition of test sieve screen type
This standard adopts the following definitions.
2.1 Wire mesh
Screen surface with mesh holes woven by metal wires interlaced with each other. 2.2 Perforated plate
Screen surface with symmetrically arranged identical holes. 2.3 Electroformed sheet
The sieve surface of a thin metal perforated plate with regularly arranged and uniformly sized holes processed by electrochemical methods. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on December 1, 1997 and implemented on October 1, 1998
3 Representation method
GB/T 6005--1997
3.1 The sieve surface of the test sieve is represented by the basic size of the sieve holes (center distance or diameter of opposite sides). For perforated plates and electroformed sheets, the type of holes should also be indicated: square holes or round holes.
3.2 The sieve hole size is greater than or equal to 1mm, expressed in mm; the sieve hole size is less than 1mm, expressed in um. 4 Basic size of sieve holes
The basic size of sieve holes is shown in Tables 2 and 3.
