The main differences between this standard and JB3580.1~3580.3—84 are: 1. The main parameters add metric taper number:

4.1 Materials

4.2.1 The heat treatment hardness of the cone surface of the top shaft shall not be less than 58HRC. 4.2.2 The heat treatment hardness of the cone surface of the body shall not be less than 40HRC. 4.3 Surface roughness
4.3.1 The maximum allowable value of the surface roughness R of the outer cone of the top shaft is 0.5um, and the maximum allowable value of the surface roughness R of the inner cone is 1.0um4.3.2 The maximum allowable value of the surface roughness R of the body cone is 0.5μm. 4.4 Cone contact accuracy
The ratio of the actual contact length of the body cone surface with the standard gauge to the working length shall not be less than 75% and shall be evenly distributed. 4.5 Geometric accuracy

The rotary top The tip is mounted on a special inspection tool, the indicator probe touches the cone generatrix of the top shaft vertically, and the body cone is positioned. Under the axial load specified in Table 5, the rotating top shaft is inspected. The rotating top is mounted on a special inspection positioning device (allowed to tilt 30°), the indicator probe touches the cone generatrix of the top shaft vertically, and the rotating body is inspected for the cone surface. JB/T3580-1998 The rotating top is operated for 30 minutes at the speed and axial load specified in Table 6, and the temperature rise shall not exceed 50℃. Test method of radial dynamic load
As shown in Figure 5, the tested rotating top is installed on the testing machine, and the load P specified in Table 7 is applied to the radial direction of the top shaft. Figure 5

The surface hardness of the top shaft should be tested on the conical surface, cylindrical surface or end surface close to the head, and the hardness of the conical surface of the body should be tested on the working surface of the body. The test should comply with the provisions of GB/T230. 5.3 Contact accuracy test
The contact accuracy test between the conical surface of the body and the standard gauge should comply with the specified method of JB5563. Other equivalent methods are allowed when there is no dispute.
5.4 Temperature rise test
5.4.1 The temperature rise measurement method of the umbrella-shaped rotary top is shown in Figure 6. At the speed and load specified in Table 6, the umbrella-shaped head is rotated, and the temperature rise is measured with a point thermometer immediately after stopping.

5.4.2 The temperature rise measurement method of the ordinary type and insertion type rotary top is shown in Figure 7. At the speed and load specified in Table 6, the top shaft is rotated, and the temperature rise is measured with a point thermometer.

6 Inspection rules
6.1 Each product can leave the factory only after passing the inspection. 6.2 The factory inspection shall include the contents of 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.8 and Chapter 7. 6.3 Type inspection shall include all the contents of this standard. The tests of 5.1 and 5.4 shall be no less than 2 pieces each time. Type inspection shall be carried out in one of the following situations: a) Trial and type identification of new products or old products transferred to the factory for production; b) Products resume production after long-term suspension; c) Regular quality inspection of the enterprise or product inspection by the superior quality supervision department; d) Other situations where it is necessary to ensure that the product fully meets the requirements of the standard. 6
