Technical conditions for magnetic particle inspection of internal combustion engine connecting bolts 3.1 The bolts shall meet the requirements of the standard and be manufactured according to the product drawings and technical documents approved by the prescribed procedures. 3.2 Explosion bolt material: Generally, 45 steel specified in GB/T699-1999 or 40Ct35CTMDA40MnVB, 40MnB and other alloy steels specified in GB/T3077-1958 are used: other materials with mechanical properties that meet the requirements of 3.3 of this standard may also be used. 3.3 The explosion bolts shall be heat treated, and their tensile strength, adhesive strength and hardness shall be as follows:
