Method of emulsifiabirity testfor pesticide emulsifiers
This method is applicable to the determination of the emulsification performance of pesticide emulsifiers. 2 Instruments
2.1 Ground-mouth stoppered measuring cylinder: 100 ml, inner diameter 28±2 mm, height 250±5 mm. 2.2 Beaker: 1000 ml, diameter 80-90 mm; 250 ml, diameter 60-65 mm.
2.3 Glass stirring rod: diameter 6-8 mm. 2.4 Syringe or pipette: 1 ml (scale of 0.1 ml). 2.5 Constant temperature water bath.
3 Preparation of hard water mother liquor
3.1 Reagents
3.1.1 Calcium carbonate (HG3-106677): analytical grade. 3.1.2 Anhydrous calcium chloride: analytical grade.
3.1.3 Magnesium oxide (HG3-1294-80): analytical grade. 3.1.4 Magnesium chloride (GB672-78): analytical grade. 3.1.5 Hydrochloric acid (GB622-77): analytical grade. 3.2 Preparation of standard hard water stock solution (hardness is 34200ppm in terms of calcium carbonate) UDC 66.063.61: 543.061 GB 3776.3-83 (confirmed in 1989) Weigh 27.400g calcium carbonate and 2.760g magnesium oxide in an evaporating dish, dissolve with 2N hydrochloric acid, heat and evaporate until dry, add a small amount of distilled water, and evaporate to dryness. Repeat this operation to remove excess hydrochloric acid and make it neutral. Then dissolve with distilled water and dilute to 1000ml. The hardness of this solution is 34200ppm.
b, weigh 30.400g anhydrous calcium chloride and 13.900g magnesium chloride with six crystal waters, and dissolve in 1000ml distilled water. The solution was filtered, and the hardness of the filtrate was 34200ppm. The above two methods can be selected.
4 Preparation of pesticide emulsifiable concentrates
4.1 Emulsifiable concentrate components
4.1.1 Solvent: selected according to the standards required for emulsifiable concentrates. 4.1.2 Pesticide emulsifier sample.
4.1.3 Pesticide technical (crude oil): meet the indicators specified by national standards, departmental standards (professional standards) or enterprise standards. 4.2 Preparation method
National Bureau of Standards 1983-06·15 Issued
1984-06-01 Implementation
GB3776.3-83
According to the prescribed proportion of the formula, weigh the corresponding technical (pure), pesticide emulsifier sample and solvent (all weighed to 0.01 g) in a small beaker, mix, and heat and stir appropriately to form an emulsifiable concentrate. 5 Determination of emulsification properties of pesticide emulsifiersWww.bzxZ.net
5.1 Appearance of pesticide emulsifiable concentrates
At room temperature, the test should be a single-phase transparent liquid. 5.2 Observation of emulsion stability
In a 250 ml beaker, add 99 ml of 30±1℃ distilled water and 1 ml of 34200Ppm hard water mother liquor to make standard hard water (hardness is 342PPm in terms of calcium carbonate), and use a syringe or pipette to draw the emulsifiable concentrate sample. Under constant stirring, slowly add hard water (according to the dilution concentration specified in the standard) to make it into 100 ml emulsion. After adding the emulsifiable concentrate, continue to stir at a speed of 2 to 3 revolutions per second for 30 seconds, immediately transfer the emulsion to a clean 100 ml measuring cylinder, and place the measuring cylinder in a 30±1℃ constant temperature water bath. After standing for 1 hour, take it out and observe the emulsion separation. If there is no floating oil, sinking oil or precipitation in the measuring cylinder, the stability is qualified. 5.3 Determination of dispersion time
In a 1000 ml beaker, add 990 ml of 30±1℃ distilled water and 10 ml of 34200ppm hard water mother liquor to make standard hard water (hardness is 342Ppm in terms of calcium carbonate) and adjust the temperature to 30±1℃. Use a syringe or pipette to draw 1 ml of emulsified oil and drip it freely 1 cm above the surface of the hard water. After dripping, use a glass rod with a diameter of 6-8 mm to stir at a speed of 2-3 revolutions per second, and record the time (seconds) required to stir until the emulsion is a homogeneous phase with no visible oil droplets.
