This standard is a revision of JB3593-84 "Heat-treated powder metallurgy iron-based structural materials". Compared with JB3593—84, this standard only changes the material grade indication method in the original standard to the marking method according to GB/T4309—1984 "Classification and Grade Indication Method of Powder Metallurgy Materials", and the main technical performance indicators have not changed. This standard replaces JB3593—84 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed and managed by the Technical Committee for Standardization of Powder Metallurgy Products. The main drafting unit of this standard is Beijing Powder Metallurgy Research Institute. The main drafters of this standard are Hao Rongwei, Cao Baoxing and Yin Hongyu. This standard was first issued on March 5, 1984. 1

4.1 The chemical composition and physical and mechanical properties of the test materials should be made from the same alloy powder, under the same process conditions and in the same batch. 4.2
The chemical composition of the material shall comply with the provisions of JB/T8063.1~8063.3. 4.3 The density of the material shall comply with the provisions of GB/T5163. 4.4 The hardness of the material shall comply with the provisions of GB/T9097.1. 5 The tensile strength of the material shall comply with the provisions of GB/T7964. 4.5
4.6 The impact toughness of the material shall comply with the provisions of GB/T9096. 4.7 When manufacturing parts with materials specified in this standard, the manufacturer must ensure that the material of the parts meets the performance requirements specified in the standard. The content and test methods of the part performance test and acceptance shall be in accordance with the relevant standards or agreed upon by the manufacturer and the ordering unit as required by the standard. 2
