This standard specifies the basic dimensions, performance and material requirements for metal pipes, internal and external threaded pipe fittings and hose end fittings used in automobile hydraulic braking systems.
This standard applies to vehicles equipped with hydraulic braking systems. 2 Reference standards

3.1 Metal pipes without flaring
Double-layer rolled pipes. The basic dimensions, bursting pressure and mass per meter shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. Metal pipes may also be coated with plastic on their outer surfaces, but they shall meet the requirements for the use of internal and external threaded pipe joints and hose end joints specified in this standard. Note: 1) Metal pipes without surface treatment refer to metal pipes rolled with surface treated materials. When used, no surface treatment is required. The roundness value of the metal pipe should be limited to the outer diameter tolerance. 3.2 Metal pipes with flared
The flared pipes are made of the pipes in Table 1. The appearance of the flared pipes and the pipe joints used are shown in Figure 1. The types and sizes of the flared pipes shall be in accordance with the provisions of Figure 2 and Table 2.
