National Standard of the People's Republic of China
Test method for peel force of flexible laminated plastics
UDC 678.5/7.076
: 620.172
GB8808-88
This standard specifies the determination of peel force of various flexible laminated plastics laminated on plastic or other substrates (such as aluminum foil, paper, fabric, etc.).
2 Principle
Test the sample of specified width at a certain speed by T-peeling to determine the average peel force between the composite layer and the substrate. 3 Test Equipment
Tensile testing machine with graphic recording device, or other equipment that can meet the requirements of this test. 4 Test Specimen
4.1 Specimen size
Method A Width 15.0±0.1mm, length 200mm. Used for composite films, etc. Method B has a width of 30.0±0.2mm and a length of 150mm. It is used for artificial leather, woven composite bags, etc. 4.2 Sample preparation
Remove 50mm from both ends of the sample in the width direction, and evenly cut 5 longitudinal and transverse samples along the width direction of the sample. The composite direction is longitudinal.
Pre-peel the composite layer and the substrate 50mm along the length direction of the sample, and the peeled part shall not have obvious damage. If the sample is not easy to peel, immerse about 20mm of one end of the sample in an appropriate solvent for treatment, wait for the solvent to completely evaporate, and then conduct the peeling force test. If the composite layer cannot be separated from the substrate after this treatment, the test cannot be carried out. 5 State adjustment and test environment
The sample should be placed in an environment with a temperature of 23±2℃ and a relative humidity of 45%~55% for more than 4 hours, and then the test should be carried out in the above environment.
6 Test speed
Method A 300±50mm/min;
Method B 200±50mm/min.
7 Test steps
Clamp the two ends of the peeled part of the sample on the upper and lower clamps of the test machine respectively, so that the longitudinal axis of the peeled part of the sample coincides with the line connecting the center of the upper and lower clamps
GB8808-88
approved by the Ministry of Light Industry of the People's Republic of China on February 13, 1988 and implemented on July 1, 1988, and the tightness is appropriate. During the test, the unpeeled part is T-shaped with the tensile direction, as shown in Figure 1. Record the peeling force curve during the peeling process of the sample.

According to the shape of the curve obtained in the test (refer to the three typical curves in Figure 2), adopt a value selection method that is close to them. Calculate the arithmetic mean of each group of samples, take two significant figures, and take Newton (N) as the unit. MW

If necessary, calculate the standard deviation S as follows: S
Where: X, a single measured value;

The test report should include the following parts:
E(X, - X)2
Type and composite process of the sample tested;
State adjustment and test environment;
Sample width and test speed;

Arithmetic mean of peeling force in longitudinal and transverse directions; If necessary, the standard deviation and maximum and minimum values of peeling force should be given; sampling date, test date, and test personnel. Additional remarks;
