This standard specifies the appearance inspection and marking of O-rings (simple O-rings). According to the shape, characteristics and size of the ring defects, the surface defects are classified and the specifications are required. 1 Letter symbol

Excessive edge width.

Die shrinkage crack depth.
Flow mark (only allowed along the circumferential direction) length. Flow mark (only allowed along the circumferential direction) depth. Length and width of concave and convex defects.

2 Quality grade
2.1 Grade
2.1.1 N grade (-- general grade): suitable for general use 2.1.2 S grade (higher grade): suitable for use occasions with higher appearance quality requirements. 2.1.3 NZ grade, SZ grade (special grade): Select the most defects in N grade or S grade, specify higher appearance quality requirements, called NZ grade or S7 grade, and shall be agreed upon by both parties. 2.2 Quality mark
Use the letters specified in 3.1 as the appearance quality mark symbols. 3 Appearance quality
The size and tolerance of the finished O-ring shall comply with the provisions of GB3452.1-82 "Dimension series and tolerance of O-ring rubber seals for hydraulic and pneumatic use" or relevant national standards. bZxz.net
3.2 General requirements
O-rings are not allowed to have pores, cracks, impurities, bubbles, and the surface shall be smooth and clean. The surface defects shall not exceed the specified limits. 3.3 Surface defects
The surface defect types and quality requirements of O-rings shall comply with the provisions in the table. Approved by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China on March 7, 1987, 12-01, 1987
