This standard applies to the identification and grading of Liaoning Cashmere Goat GB4630-84
Liaoning Cashmere Goat is a local fine breed produced in the mountainous area of southeastern Liaoning Province. It has stable genetics, is resistant to extensive breeding, and has strong adaptability. 1 Breed characteristics
1.1 Appearance characteristics
The coat is all white, the physique is strong, the structure is symmetrical, the head is light and small, there is long hair on the forehead, and there is poison under the jaw. Both male and female sheep have horns. The horns of male sheep are thick and extend in a spiral shape on both sides, and the horns of female sheep extend backward and upward in a curved shape. The neck is wide and thick, the neck and shoulders are well combined, the back and waist are straight, the limbs and hooves are strong, the tail is short and thin, and the tail tip has wings.
1.2 Wool quality
1.2.1 The wool is white and mixed.
1.2.2 The wool is non-medullated, dense and long, and the natural wool length is more than 5.5cm. The wool is 14-18um. The net wool rate is 70%. 1.2.3 The wool is composed of three types of fibers: non-medullated wool, medullated wool and two-type wool. It is mercerized, long and sparse, and has no bends. 1.3 Production performance
The lower limit standard of production performance of first-class sheep is shown in Table 1. Age→

Note: Adult refers to goats over three years old.
1.4Ewe lambing rate is more than 110%.
1.5Slaughter rate is 50%.

Weight, kg
2.1Rating principles One-year-old initial evaluation, adult grade determination. 2.1.1Level 1: Representative type of Liaoning Cashmere Goats, whose body shape, appearance, wool quality and production performance fully meet the requirements of breed characteristics. Among them, adult rams with a cashmere production of more than 900g and ewes with a cashmere production of more than 600g are rated as special grade. 2.1.2Level 2: Body shape, appearance, and wool quality meet the requirements of Level 1, and production performance rams with a cashmere production of more than 600g and ewes with a cashmere production of more than 400g are rated as Level 2.
2.1.3 Grade III: basically meet the requirements of breed characteristics, the wool production of rams is more than 375g, and that of ewes is more than 250g is rated as Grade III. 3 Test method
3.1 Wool length: measure the wool length, separate the wool from the wool and measure the length of the wool tuft in its natural state with a steel ruler at 10cm from the rear edge of the shoulder bone above the horizontal midline of the sheep's body.
3.2 Wool production: weigh the individual wool production immediately after wool is drawn. 3.3 Weight: measure the weight on an empty stomach after wool is drawn at the end of May and lambing. 3.4 Wool fineness: objectively measure the individual wool fineness of breeding rams, and the fineness of ewes can be tested by group sampling at 5%. Test method: measure by microscopic projection method.
3.5 Test records are shown in Table 2.

4.2 Numbering method: Use four digits, the first digit represents the year, and the last three digits represent the individual number of the sheep in order, with odd numbers for rams and even numbers for ewes.
