This standard specifies the diameter and pitch series of trapezoidal screw threads with nominal diameters of 8 to 300 mm and tooth profiles that conform to GB5796.1-86 "Trapezoidal thread tooth profile".
This standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO2902-1977 "ISO metric trapezoidal thread-General scheme". 1 The diameter and pitch series shall be in accordance with the provisions of the table.
2 Selection of diameter and pitch
2.1 The diameter of the first series shall be given priority. 2.2 Among the pitches corresponding to each diameter, the pitch in the thick black frame shall be given priority. 2.3 When there is a special need, the pitch corresponding to the adjacent diameter in the table may be selected. 3 Thread code
3.1 Trapezoidal threads that comply with GB5796.186 are indicated by "Tr". 3.2 The size and specification of single-thread threads are indicated by "nominal diameter × pitch", and that of multi-thread threads are indicated by "nominal diameter × lead (P pitch)", both in mm.
3.3 When the thread is left-handed, "LH" shall be added after the size specification, and right-handed threads shall not be indicated. 3.4 Example:
