2.3 Structure
2.3.1 Conductor
Number of cores: 2, 3, 4 or 5 cores.
The conductor shall meet the requirements specified in GB/T 3956. The first type is used for solid conductors and the second type is used for
-stranded conductors.
2.3.2 Insulation
The insulation extruded on the conductor shall be a PVC/C-type polyvinyl chloride mixture. The insulation thickness shall comply with the value specified in column 3 of Table 1. The insulation resistance shall not be less than the value specified in column 8 of Table 1. 2.3.3 Cabling of insulated cores
The insulated cores shall be twisted together.
2.3.4 Inner sheath
An inner sheath composed of a non-vulcanized rubber or plastic mixture shall be extruded on the twisted insulated cores. The inner sheath and the insulated core shall be easily separated. 2.3.5 Sheath
The sheath extruded on the inner sheath shall be a PVC/ST4-type polyvinyl chloride mixture. The sheath shall fit tightly with the inner sheath and be easy to peel off without damaging the inner sheath. The sheath thickness shall comply with the value specified in column 5 of Table 1. 2.3.6 Outside diameter
The average outside diameter shall be within the limits specified in columns 6 and 7 of Table 1. 2.4 Tests
Compliance with the requirements of 2.3 shall be checked by the tests and inspections specified in Table 2. 2.5 Guidelines for use
In normal use, the maximum conductor temperature is 70°C. Note: Other guidelines are under consideration.
