Determination of the nonyolatile contentThis standard applies to the determination of non-volatile components in various resin finishing agents. 1 Definition

GB5546--85
The content of non-volatile components (solid and liquid) in resin finishing agent at a certain time and drying temperature. 2 Instruments and equipment
2.1 Analytical balance: sensitivity 0.1 mg.
2.2 Thermometer: glass thermometer with a temperature range of 0~150℃ and a graduation of 1℃. 2.3 Electric blast oven: sensitivity ±1℃. 2.4 Weighing bottle: diameter 60 mm, height 30 mm. 2.5 Dryer: with a tray, silica gel or anhydrous calcium chloride desiccant is placed underneath. 3 Determination Procedures
Weigh about 1 gram of sample (non-volatile components after drying are 0.4-0.5 grams, accurate to ±0.1 mg) and place it in a weighing bottle that has been dried and weighed, and add 5 ml of distilled water and gently rotate it by hand to fully mix the sample and water, and evenly distribute it on the bottom of the entire weighing bottle. Within 30 minutes, place it in the upper frame of an electric oven at 105±1℃, close to the glass ball of the thermometer, turn on the blower to keep the air circulating, and keep the temperature at 105±1℃ and dry for 3 hours. Take it out of the oven, cover the weighing bottle immediately, put it in a dryer to cool to room temperature, and weigh it (accurate to ±0.1 mg). 4 Calculation
Calculate the percentage of non-volatile components as follows: Non-volatile components %
Where: G1--Weighing bottle and sample mass, g, G2--Weighing bottle and sample mass after drying, g; A--Weighing bottle mass, g.
G,-A
¥100
The relative error of three parallel determinations is not more than 1%, and the average value is taken as the result. Issued by the State Bureau of Standards on October 29, 1985
Implemented on August 1, 1986
