GB/T4897 "Innovative Pattern Board" is divided into seven parts: - Part 1, common requirements for all board types: - Part 2: Requirements for ordinary boards used in dry state - Part 3, Requirements for furniture and interior decoration boards used in dry state; - Part 4: Requirements for structural boards used in dry state; - Part 5: Requirements for structural boards used in wet state; - Part 6: Requirements for reinforced structural boards used in dry state; - Part 7: Requirements for reinforced structural boards used in wet state. This part is Part 5 of GB/T4897 "Side Pattern Board". This part is not equivalent to the European standard EN312-5 "Innovative Pattern Board" Part 5: Requirements for structural boards used in wet state. The physical and chemical properties are the same as EN312-5 except for the increase of surface bonding strength and screw holding force. The dimensional change test items are not listed in this part. The water resistance test is the internal bonding strength after boiling for 2 hours. GB/T4897-2003 Creative board\ Compared with the previous version of the standard (GB/T4897-1992), the important technical change is that the original standard is divided into seven parts, among which the requirements for structural boards used in a wet state and the requirements for reinforced structural boards used in a fully wet state are new additions. This part is the new addition. This part is proposed by the State Forestry Administration.
This part is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for the Promotion of Man-Made Board Standards, and the responsible drafting unit for this part is China Forestry Science and Technology Wan Wood Industry Research Institute. Participating drafting units of this part: Beijing Timber Factory, Hebei Saibo Board Industry Group. The main reformers of this part: Chen Qiying, Long Ling, Zheng Fengshan, Zhang Zhanhao. This part was first issued in February 1985, revised for the first time in August 1992, and this is the second revision. Particleboard Part 5: Requirements for structural boards used in damp conditions This part of GB/T4897 specifies the technical requirements, statistical calculation and judgment methods, measurement and test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, and marking of structural boards used in damp conditions. This part applies to particleboards defined in 3.5 of GB/T4897.1-2003. This part does not apply to oriented strand board (OSB). 2 Normative references

Determine the internal bonding strength of the specimen after boiling in boiling water. 5.7.2 Apparatus
5.7.2.1 Vernier caliper, accuracy 0.1 mm5.7.2.2 Material universal mechanical testing machine, accuracy 10 N5.7.2.3 Constant temperature water level, constant temperature sensitivity ±1 °C. 5.7.2.4 Air convection drying, temperature range 40 °C ~ 200 °C. 5.7.3 Specimen size
Length 1-50mm±1mm, width 6=50mm+1mm. 5.7.4 Method
5.7.4.1 Measure the length and width of the specimen according to 4.1 of GB/T7657-1999. 5.7.4.2 Place the specimen in constant temperature water containing room temperature water, with a distance of at least 15mm between the specimens and between the specimens and the wall and bottom of the constant temperature water tank. The specimen is at least 15m below the water surface and heated to 100°C within 90±10)min. When the temperature reaches 100°C, the test piece is boiled in boiling water for (120±10)min. Take out the test piece and immediately put it into (20 ± 2) ℃ water to cool for 1h2h. After cooling, take out the test piece and wipe it dry. The water used to boil the test piece shall not be reused. 5.7.4.3 Use fine sandpaper to lightly sand the surface of the test piece, and use hot melt adhesive to stick the test piece to the clamp head. Test the internal bonding strength according to the provisions of 4.8 in GB/T17657-1999. The test shall be completed within 1 hour. 5.7.5 Results and indications 5.7.5.1 Calculate the internal bonding strength according to the provisions of 4.8 in GB/T17657-1999. The size of the test piece is calculated according to the size before boiling. 5.7.5.2 The internal bonding strength of a board after boiling is the arithmetic mean of the internal bonding strengths of all test pieces in the same board after boiling, accurate to 0.01MPa. 6 Inspection rules Carry out according to the provisions of Chapter 8 in GB/T4897.1-2003. 7 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage and marking shall be carried out in accordance with Chapter 9 of GB/T 4897.1--2003.
