3.1 Purity rate: the percentage of net sample weight minus one-half of imperfect grains in the net sample weight. 3.2 Imperfect kernels: kernels with imperfect seeds but still edible value, including the following: 3.2.1 Unripe kernels: kernels with immature seeds, thin and shrunken, and significantly different from normal kernels. 3.2.2
Insect-eaten kernels: kernels eaten by insects and with damaged cotyledons. 3.2.3 Broken kernels: kernels with flattened and cracked seeds. 3.2.4 Moldy kernels: kernels with mold on the surface or discolored cotyledons. 3.3 Impurities: substances that pass through the specified sieve layer and have no edible value, including the following: 3.3.1 Undersize: substances that pass through a sieve with a diameter of 1.0 mm. 3.3.2 Inorganic impurities: sand, gravel, soil, bricks and tiles and other inorganic substances. 3.3.3 Organic impurities: sesame seeds with no edible value, seeds of foreign grains and oils, and other organic substances. 3.4 Oil content: the percentage of crude fat content in sesame. 3.5 Color and smell: the comprehensive color and smell of a batch of sesame. 4 Classification
According to the color of sesame seed coat, sesame seeds are divided into the following four categories: White sesame seeds: 95% or more of sesame seeds with white or milky white seed coat. 4.1
4.2 Black sesame seeds: 95% or more of sesame seeds with black seed coat. 4.3 Other pure color sesame seeds: 95% or more of sesame seeds with yellow, yellow-brown, reddish-brown, gray, etc. seed coat. 4.4 Mixed color sesame seeds: All sesame seeds that do not belong to the above three categories belong to this category. 5 Quality indicators

5.3 The maximum moisture limit of purchased sesame seeds is stipulated by each province, city, and autonomous region. 5.4 Sesame seeds for oil production are graded by oil content. The quality indicators are shown in Appendix A. 5.5 Hygiene indicators shall comply with relevant national regulations. Plant quarantine items shall be implemented in accordance with relevant national regulations. 5.6
Inspection methods
Sesame sampling and sub-sampling shall be implemented in accordance with GB5491. 6.1
6.2 Color and odor inspection shall be implemented in accordance with GB5492. Type and intermixing inspection shall be implemented in accordance with GB5493. 6.3
Inspection of impurities and purity rate shall be implemented in accordance with GB5494. 6.4
Inspection of moisture shall be implemented in accordance with GB5497.
Determination of oil content shall be implemented in accordance with GB5512.
Packaging, transportation and storage
7.1 Sesame packaging is divided into large packaging and small packaging: 7.1.1 Large packaging: The use of sack packaging shall comply with the requirements of GB8115. 』Color, smell
7.1.2 Small package: The packaging materials used should meet the requirements of food hygiene, be strong and not easy to break and leak, and indicate the product name, grade and weight.
7.2 The transportation of sesame shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China on grain and oil transportation. 7.3 The storage of sesame shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Technical Specifications for Grain and Oil Storage of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China. This standard is proposed and coordinated by the Grain Storage and Transportation Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China. This standard is drafted by the Grain Bureaus of Anhui, Hubei, Henan, Sichuan and Jiangsu Provinces. The main drafters of this standard are Ning Naizhuang, Zhang Ming, Jiang Zhongqiang, Ji Aiping and Liang Shangfen. This standard is interpreted by the Inspection Office of the Grain Storage and Transportation Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce. From the date of implementation of this standard, the professional standard ZBB33001-85 "Sesame" issued by the former Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China shall be invalid.
