Summary:
This standard specifies the cavity length series and the corresponding output power series of CO2 lasers, and proposes typical product models; it also specifies the series values of ignition voltage, preheating time, output power instability and polarization degree. This standard is applicable to sealed CO2 lasers with a working wavelength of 10.6μm and continuous wave operation. This standard does not apply to continuous wave frequency stabilization, TEA pulse and mobile CO2 lasers. The main technical differences between this revision and GR4932-1985 are as follows: The structure and technical elements of the standard are revised according to GB/1.31997. The "preheating time" series is used, and the "sensitized light" series is cancelled; the "ignition power" series is newly added. The "output power", "output power instability" and "deviation" series in the original GB4932-1985 have been revised in this revision. In addition, the "length dimension" in the original GB4932:1985 has been changed to "length" in this revision, and some modifications have been made to it.
This standard will replace GB/1332-1985 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Information Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the China Electronics Technology Standardization Institute: The issuing units of this standard: Beijing Chaoyang Minguang Equipment Factory, China National Radio and Television Technology Standardization Institute.
