The "Jacked Pipe Construction and Acceptance Specification" has accumulated experience after five years of trial implementation, and entrusted Yizheng Chemical Fiber Industry United Company to make some supplements and revisions to the trial version. After discussion and approval by relevant units, it is now officially approved for promulgation and implementation. All units are requested to inform the Engineering Department of the Construction Bureau of our Ministry of Construction of their experience and opinions during implementation. Preparation Instructions
Technical Jacketed Pipes are widely used in petrochemical fiber industry. In 1980, the Ministry of Textile Industry organized Shanghai Petrochemical General Plant, the Fifth Installation Engineering Company of the Ministry of Nuclear Industry, the Design Institute of the Ministry of Textile Industry, the Construction Bureau of the Ministry of Textile Industry and other units to compile the Ministry-issued "Jacked Pipe Construction and Acceptance Technical Specification (Trial)" FJJ211-80. After five years of production practice experience, the specification has been partially revised and supplemented, adding melt pipe production; inspection, installation, commissioning of spring supports and hangers, and Freon detection technology. The relevant chapters in the compilation are as consistent as possible with the promulgated national standards "Industrial Pipeline Engineering Construction and Acceptance Specifications" Metal Pipe GBJ23582, "On-site Equipment, Industrial Pipeline Welding Engineering Construction and Acceptance Specifications" GBJ236-82; "Steel Weld Radiograph and Film Grade Classification Method XGB3323-82". The revision task is undertaken by Yizheng Chemical Fiber Industry United Company. The main personnel participating in the compilation are Zhang Guodong and Dong Ruifeng. After the original trial draft compilation team and relevant petrochemical plants, chemical fiber plants, design institutes, and textile machinery plants participated in the discussion and review, the final draft was finalized.

Chapter 1 General Provisions
Article 1.0.1 This specification applies to the construction and acceptance of process jacketed pipes in petrochemical and chemical fiber equipment. The working pressure of the jacketed pipe is ≤25×10°Pa (≤250kgf/cm) (gauge pressure, the same below), the working temperature is -20~350C, the material is carbon steel and stainless steel, and the types are two types: concealed type and exposed type of inner pipe welds. Article 1.0.2 The construction of the jacketed pipe shall comply with the provisions of the design documents. If the design needs to be changed, it must be approved by the design department. Article 1.0.3 The prefabrication and installation of jacketed pipes shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the construction procedures to ensure product quality. Article 1.0.4 The safety technology and labor protection of jacketed pipe construction and installation shall be implemented in accordance with the current relevant regulations [Note: Safety technical operating procedures can be found in the National Construction Engineering Bureau (80) Construction Engineering Labor No. 24]. Article 1.0.5 The insulation, cold preservation, corrosion protection, degreasing, pickling, passivation, etc. of jacketed pipes shall be in accordance with the design documents. Article 1.0.6
