This standard specifies the main performance requirements, test procedures and test report contents of the test equipment used in the immersion test of transport packages.
This standard is applicable to the assessment of the ability of transport packages to withstand water immersion damage and the ability of packaging to protect the contents. This standard can be used for pre-treatment tests before conducting other tests. It can be used as a single test or as part of a series of tests. 2 Reference standards
GB/T4857.1 Method for marking various parts of packaging and transport packagesGB/T4857.2 Temperature and humidity adjustment treatment of packaging and transport packagesGB/T4857.17 General principles for compiling performance test outlines for packaging and transport packages3 Test principles
Completely immerse the test sample in water and take it out after keeping it for a certain period of time. Drain and dry it under the predetermined atmospheric conditions and time.
4 Test equipment
4.1 Water tankbZxz.net
4.1.1 The water tank should have sufficient volume to immerse the test sample completely in water during the test, and the distance from the top of the test sample below the water surface should not be less than 100mm.
4.1.2 The water tank should have water supply and drainage devices, should not have water seepage or leakage, and can keep the water temperature within the range specified in this standard. 4.2 Immersion device
The device should be of sufficient size to accommodate the test sample loosely and be able to be raised or lowered. 4.3 Rigid grid
It has certain strength and rigidity, does not deform when supporting the wet test sample, and allows air to flow freely through the bottom surface of the test sample. The contact area between the grid bars and the test sample is not more than 10% of the bottom area of the test sample. 5 Test procedure
5.1 Preparation of test samples
Prepare the test samples according to the requirements of GB/T4857.17, approved by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision on February 13, 1992 288
Implementation on October 1, 1992
5.2 Numbering of various parts of the test samples
GB/T 4857.12-92
Number various parts of the test samples according to the provisions of GB/T4857.1. 5.3 Pretreatment of test samples
According to the provisions of GB/T4857.2, select a condition to pretreat the test samples with temperature and humidity. 5.4 Temperature and humidity conditions during the test
5.4.1 When immersing in water, the test should be started within 5 minutes after the test sample leaves the pretreatment conditions. If the pretreatment conditions cannot be reached, the test should be carried out under the temperature and humidity conditions as close to the pretreatment as possible. 5.4.2 When draining and drying, the test should be carried out under the same temperature and humidity conditions as the pretreatment. 5.5 Test steps
5.5.1 Fill the water tank with a certain depth of water, and the water temperature is selected in the range of 5 to 40℃. The water temperature change during the immersion process is within ±2℃. 5.5.2 Place the test sample in the immersion device and immerse it in water at the same time. The immersion speed should not exceed 300mm/min until the top surface of the test sample sinks below 100mm below the water surface and maintain it for a certain time. The holding time can be selected from 5, 15, 30min or 1, 2, 4h. 5.5.3 After reaching the predetermined time, lift the test sample out of the water at a speed of not more than 300mm/min. 5.5.4 Place the test sample on the grid in the predetermined state and expose it to the predetermined atmospheric conditions. The exposure time can be selected from 48, 16, 24, 48, 72h or 1, 2, 3, 4 weeks.
5.5.5 Record any obvious damage or any other changes caused by immersion, drainage, or drying of the test sample. Check the damage of the packaging and contents according to relevant standards or regulations, and analyze the test results. S Test Report
The test report should include the following contents:
Name, specification, model, quantity, etc. of the contents; a.
b. Quantity of test samples;
c. Detailed description: size, structure and material specifications of packaging containers. Accessories, cushioning pads, supports, fixing methods, sealing, bundling status and other protective measures;
Mass of test samples and contents, in dry grams: d.
Pretreatment temperature, relative humidity and time; temperature and relative humidity of the test site:
Predetermined state of the test sample during the test; water temperature and immersion time during immersion;
Drainage and drying time;
Record of test results, and any phenomena observed during the test that are helpful for the correct interpretation of the test results; j
Description of the differences between the test method used and this standard: k.
Test date, signature of the test personnel, and seal of the test unit. Additional description:
