Summary:

This standard specifies the microcoulometric method for determining organic halides (AOX) adsorbable on activated carbon in water. If necessary, the organic halides should be stripped before adsorption, and volatile organic halides can be directly determined. This standard is applicable to the determination of organic halides (AOX) in drinking water, groundwater, surface water, and sewage. The determination range is 10-400 μg/L. If the upper limit is exceeded, the sampling volume can be reduced.
