The standard is applicable to high precision external cylindrical grinding machines with maximum grinding diameter of 50~320mm, maximum grinding length of 150~1500mm, and high precision workpiece movable type.

3.1 When using this standard, refer to the relevant provisions of GBT17421!, especially the installation before inspection, the dry operation of the spindle and other parts, the inspection method and the accuracy of the inspection work. 3.2 Adjust the installation level in accordance with the provisions of 3.1 in GBT17421.1--1998. The readings of the level in the longitudinal and axial directions shall not exceed 0.03/100
3.3 Before inspection, the actual inspection order can be arranged according to the requirements of the inspection tools and inspection items. 3.4 When the actual measured length is different from the length specified in this standard, the length should be calculated according to the provisions of 2.3.1.1 of 200B17421.1-199 according to the measurable length. When the calculated length is less than 0.001mm, it is still calculated as 0.001mm. 3.5 During the working accuracy test, the test piece will be tested after a short delay. 3.6 According to the agreement between the user and the manufacturer, the inspection items can be increased or decreased: 3.7: The inspection items, tools and measurements specified in this standard can be used with other inspection tools without lowering the requirements. The tools are the most suitable.
