This standard replaces JB/T4736-1995 "Reinforcement Circle" from the date of promulgation 》. Compared with JB/T4736--1995, the main difference between this standard and JB/T4736-1995 is: JB/T 4736-2002
-JB/T4736-1995 stipulates that the reinforcing ring can only be manufactured from the whole plate. This standard adds It stipulates that the reinforcing ring can be manufactured by radial block splicing, and the non-destructive testing requirements and qualification level requirements for the splicing welds of the reinforcing ring have been added accordingly; - Some welded joints of the reinforcing ring have been added to Appendix A of this standard Type; change the requirement in JB/T4736--1995 that "the thickness of the reinforcing ring should be no greater than the nominal thickness of the shell opening" to "the thickness of the reinforcing ring should be no greater than 1.5 times the nominal thickness of the shell opening" ". This standard specifies the requirements for manufacturing, inspection and acceptance of reinforced rings, but the materials and design calculations of reinforced rings should comply with the relevant provisions of GB150-1998 "Steel Pressure Vessels". Appendix A of this standard is an informative appendix.

1 Scope
Reinforcing ring
1.1 This standard specifies the requirements of the reinforcing ring used to reinforce the opening of the steel pressure vessel shell. Type, size and technical requirements. JB/T 47362002
1.2 This standard is used when the shell opening of a steel pressure vessel is reinforced with a reinforcing ring structure, and the following conditions should be met at the same time: a) The design pressure of the vessel is less than 6.4MPa; ||tt| |b) The design temperature of the vessel is not greater than 350°C; the nominal thickness of the opening of the vessel shell is ≤38mm; c)
d) The lower limit of the standard tensile strength of the vessel shell steel is not greater than 540MPa; e) Supplement The thickness of the strong ring should not be greater than 1.5 times the nominal thickness of the shell opening. 1.3 This standard is not recommended for containers made of chromium-molybdenum steel, nor is it recommended for containers containing extremely toxic and highly hazardous media. 1.4 This standard does not apply to vessels subjected to fatigue loads. 2 Normative reference documents

4 Types and sizes
4.1 Groove type
According to the requirements of the reinforcement ring welded joint structure, the reinforcement ring grooves are divided into five categories: A, B, C, D and E type, as shown in Figure 1. In addition to the diagram type, the designer can design the groove type by himself according to the structural requirements.
