1. This specification is specially formulated to standardize the design and construction of storage tanks on beach oil facilities: to ensure safety, reliability, advanced technology, economic rationality and environmental protection. 1.0.2 This specification applies to the design, manufacture, installation and inspection of the tank body and accessories of vertical circular simple fixed-roof steel welded storage tanks with pressure close to normal pressure on offshore petroleum facilities.

2 General provisions
The design conditions of storage tanks shall not be less than the following2.0.1.1
Volume, diameter or height of the tank
Type of medium and its density:
Operating pressure (positive and negative pressure) and operating temperature of the tank Earthquake fortification intensity, wind load, snow load, air temperature; corrosion allowance;
Open pipe size, form, quantity, flange specifications; Installation position of accessories:
Basic conditions.
Accessories only refer to the fixings fixed to the tank body by welding. Note:
The volume range of the tank should be 60-2000m
The design pressure should be the maximum decay pressure of the gas phase space of the tank. The design pressure range is -0.5~2.0kPa
2.0.4The design temperature should be the highest or lowest temperature that the tank metal may reach when the tank is in normal operation. The design maximum temperature should not be higher than 90℃, and the minimum temperature should not be lower than 19℃. In cold areas, for storage tanks without heating or insulation, the design temperature should be the lowest daily average temperature in the construction area plus 13℃. 2.0.5 The design of storage tanks should take into account the influence of corrosion of the medium in the tank and the corrosion of the marine environment and the service life. The corrosion allowance should be 15~2.0mm. 2.0.6 The thickness addition should be determined by the following formula: C= C, + C?

2.0.7 A cushion layer should be made on the base of the storage tank. The cushion layer should ensure the required slope of the tank bottom plate so that the tank bottom plate is in full contact with the top surface of the foundation. The surface layer should adopt an appropriate sealing anti-corrosion layer, and the foundation of the storage tank should meet the requirements of Appendix A. 2.0.8 For earthquake-resistant sea areas, the design of storage tanks shall comply with the relevant provisions of the "Code for Seismic Design of Structures".
2.0.9 The corrosion protection of storage tanks shall comply with the relevant provisions of the "Technical Code for Corrosion Protection of Beach and Sea Petroleum Engineering".
2.0.10 The marine environmental conditions shall be selected in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Technical Code for Beach and Sea Environmental Conditions and Loads".
3 Materials
3.1 General requirements
3.11 The selection of steel for storage tanks shall meet the use conditions of the storage tanks, the welding performance of the materials, the processing and manufacturing, and the requirements of economic rationality. 3.1,2 The steel and corresponding welding materials used for storage tanks shall comply with the provisions of the current standards cited in Article 3.1.3 of this Code. If steel of other standards is used, its performance shall not be lower than the provisions of the applicable standards.
