Summary:
This standard is specially formulated to ensure the construction quality of the pneumatic extrusion coating of liquid coatings on steel pipelines and to extend the service life of steel pipelines. This standard is applicable to the pneumatic extrusion coating of liquid coatings on steel pipelines with a nominal diameter of 40 to 300 mm, with the inner surface pre-primed or the inner surface chemically derusted. 1 General
1.01 This standard is specially formulated to ensure the construction quality of the internal coating of the saw steel pipeline by air conveying and extrusion coating and extend the service life of the steel pipeline. 1.0.2 This standard applies to the pneumatic extrusion coating of liquid coatings on steel pipes with a nominal diameter of 40 to 300 mm, which have been pre-primed or chemically derusted. The ambient temperature for pneumatic extrusion coating of liquid coatings shall not be lower than 5°C, and the relative humidity shall not be greater than 85%.

4.1 Liquid Coating
4.1.1 The liquid coating used in the construction of wind-conveyed extrusion coating of liquid coating internal coating shall comply with the design regulations. If there is no regulation in the design, the construction unit shall negotiate with the user to select liquid coating with performance that meets the requirements of Table 4.1.1.
4.1.2 Liquid coating must have product logo, quality certificate, factory date and storage period. Expired coating is strictly prohibited.
4.1.3 Before using each batch of liquid coatings, samples shall be taken according to the sampling plan specified in "Sampling of coating products".
The coating's appearance, viscosity, drying time, solid content and adhesion shall be inspected. When there is doubt about other performance indicators, the corresponding items shall also be inspected. The inspection methods and inspection results shall comply with the provisions of Table 4.1.1 of this standard. The inspection results shall be filled in the "Liquid Coating Inspection Record Form" given in Appendix A of this standard and filed in the construction unit.
If the liquid coating sampled is unqualified, double samples shall be taken for re-inspection. If it is still unqualified, the batch of coating is unqualified.
4.2 Machinery, post setting and personnel allocation
The machinery used for the pneumatic extrusion coating construction of liquid coating can be selected in accordance with the requirements of this standard.
4.2.2 The post setting and personnel allocation for the pneumatic extrusion coating construction of liquid coating can be selected in accordance with Appendix C of this standard

4.3.1 Before construction, the pipeline should be divided into construction sections. The construction section should be composed of prefabricated sections with the same diameter and wall thickness. There should be no tees or valve groups in the construction section. 4.3.2 Before construction, the compressed air should be inspected: place a white cloth or a white painted target plate in the compressed air flow for 1 stroke and observe with the naked eye. If there is no oil stain, water droplets or black spots on the white cloth or the white painted target plate, the compressed air is qualified. 4.3.3 For the construction section pre-coated with primer, the operation should be carried out according to the process flow 6
and the next step specified in Figure 4.3.3

Figure 4.3,3 Pre-priming construction pipe section installation process flow chart 4.3.3.1 Steel pipes must have quality certificates, and should allow 5% of all steel pipes used in the project to allow external diameter deviation, wall thickness deviation, roundness, and curvature inspection: The allowable deviation of steel pipes should meet the requirements of 4.3.3: and check the surface quality of each pipe: There should be no cracks on the surface of the steel pipe, and the local depression should not be greater than 12.5% of the wall thickness 4.3.3.2 Steel pipes with a length of less than 7m are placed in the prefabrication plant to be extended into prefabricated pipe sections. The inner diameter of each steel pipe should be measured before the length is extended, and the pipe ends with similar inner diameters should be welded together. When prefabricated pipe sections are extended, mixed gas shielded welding should be used for primer. The length of the prefabricated pipe section should not exceed

4.1 Liquid Coating
4.1.1 The liquid coating used in the construction of wind-conveyed extrusion coating of liquid coating internal coating shall comply with the design regulations. If there is no regulation in the design, the construction unit shall negotiate with the user to select liquid coating with performance that meets the requirements of Table 4.1.1.
4.1.2 Liquid coating must have product logo, quality certificate, factory date and storage period. Expired coating is strictly prohibited.
4.1.3 Before using each batch of liquid coatings, samples shall be taken according to the sampling plan specified in "Sampling of coating products".
The coating's appearance, viscosity, drying time, solid content and adhesion shall be inspected. When there is doubt about other performance indicators, the corresponding items shall also be inspected. The inspection methods and inspection results shall comply with the provisions of Table 4.1.1 of this standard. The inspection results shall be filled in the "Liquid Coating Inspection Record Form" given in Appendix A of this standard and filed in the construction unit.
