This standard is formulated to cooperate with the implementation of the "Regulations on the Protection of Origin Region Products" issued by the administrative department of quality and technical supervision of the State Council. It aims to protect the products of origin and the legal rights of production enterprises, and guide the compilation of standards for products of origin. This standard adopts the following definitions:
3.1 Products of designations of urigin or gcographical indicatiuns: products produced in a specific region according to traditional techniques and whose quality, characteristics or reputation are essentially determined by the geographical features of the region of origin and named after the region of origin. Products named after a specific region have their raw materials sourced from the region. The quality, characteristics and reputation of the product are determined by the local natural and cultural factors and may be produced according to traditional techniques in the named region. Products named after a specific region have their raw materials sourced partly or entirely from other unspecified regions. The special qualities, characteristics and reputation of the product are derived from the local natural and cultural factors and are produced according to traditional techniques in the named region: 3. However, products named after non-regional names are considered products of origin. 3.2 Region of origin Arigin The specific region where products of origin are produced. 3.3 Location of raw materials The region where raw materials are produced or selected that determines the quality, characteristics or reputation of products of origin. 4 Basic principles for determining products of origin 4.1 The product name should consist of the name of the region of origin and a common product name that reflects the true attributes. 4.2 The quality, color and reputation of the product can reflect the natural attributes and cultural factors of the region of origin, and it has stable quality, a long history, unique flavor and enjoys a good reputation. |tt||4.3 Produced in the region of origin using reasonable traditional production technology or special traditional production equipment. 5.1 Determination of the region of origin
5.1.1 Based on historical surveys and local natural attributes and human factors. 5.1.2 When determining the region of origin, the geographical location should be clearly stated and a corresponding regional map should be attached. 5.2 Determination of the region of raw materials
