This standard specifies the types, basic parameters, dimensions, technical requirements and relevant use regulations for hand holes for necked flat welding flanges made of carbon steel and low alloy steel.
This standard applies to hand holes for necked flat welding flanges with nominal pressure PN1.0~1.6MPa and working temperature limited to the range specified in Table 3-2 according to material category.
Note: The working temperature in Table 3-2 is only applicable to the pressure-bearing parts of the handball, excluding gaskets. The working temperature of the gasket should be determined according to the corresponding gasket standard.
