This standard is equivalent to the industrial standard JIS C2336-1991 "Pressure Sensitive Polyvinyl Chloride Adhesive Tapes for Electrical Insulation". The main difference between this standard and JIS C2336-1991 is that the inspection rules for products are detailed according to the actual situation in my country. This standard was proposed by the Technical Supervision Department of the former Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Adhesive Standardization Technical Committee. The drafting unit of this standard: Shanghai Rubber Products Research Institute. This standard specifies the technical requirements, test force method, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of polyvinyl chloride pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes for electrical insulation.
This standard is applicable to pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes with polyvinyl chloride film as the base material and adhesive coated evenly on one side. It is mainly used for electrical insulation.

4.1 Appearance

The adhesive tape should be wound into a roll evenly, without obvious deformation and winding gaps, and the two sides should be flat and straight without missing or overflowing glue. The color of the adhesive tape should be even, without wrinkles, scars, impurities and other defects that affect the performance. There is no glue on the back of the adhesive tape.
4.2 Performance
The performance of the adhesive tape should comply with the requirements of Table 2.

5.1 Appearance

Inspect by visual method. Unwind about 1m long adhesive tape within 3~5s to check whether there is adhesive migration to the back of the adhesive tape. 5.2 Size
5.2.1 Thickness of adhesive tape
Measure according to GB/T7125.
5.2.2 Width of adhesive tape
Measure with a vernier gauge with a scale of 0.02 mm. Measure two points on each roll, accurate to 0.1 mm, and take the median value. 5-2.3 Length of adhesive tape
Measure with a steel sheet with a scale of ］mm. When measuring, the adhesive tape should be left for more than 1 minute after unwinding. The length of the adhesive tape should be accurate to 1 cm.
5.3 Performance
