Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the type, size, technical requirements and relevant use regulations of carbon steel normal pressure hand holes. This standard is applicable to normal pressure hand holes with a non-impact working pressure of less than 0.07MPa, a working temperature lower limit of 0℃ and an upper limit of 60～200℃.
Note: The upper limit working temperature is determined by the material type of the selected rubber sealing gasket. 129

Note: The height H of the hand hole is determined based on the diameter of the container being not less than twice the nominal diameter of the hand hole; if there are special requirements, changes are allowed, but the changed H dimension must be indicated and the total mass of the hand hole must be corrected. 132
4 Technical requirements
The technical requirements for hand holes shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 4 "Technical Conditions" in HG21514. 133
