This standard replaces GB/T39001997 Tire Valve Series". This standard adopts ISO 9413:1998 (Tire Valve Dimensions and Models) (English version). GB/T3900—2003
This standard is redrafted based on ISO 9413:1998. For the convenience of comparison, a comparison table of chapter and article numbers between this standard and the international standard is listed in Appendix C:11. The relevant technical differences between this standard and ISO 9413 have been abbreviated and marked with a vertical single line in the margin of the clauses to which they are related. A list of these technical differences and their reasons is given in the Appendix for reference. In order to facilitate use, this standard has also made the following formatting changes: a) "and international standards" was changed to "this standard"; b) the comma "" as a decimal point was replaced by ""; c) the foreword of the international standard was deleted.
The main differences between this standard and GB/T3900-1997 are: the product model marking of the valve has been revised (3.1 and 3.2 of the 1997 edition and 3.【 and 3.2 of this edition) + the specifications of the valve have been added and deleted (4 of the 1997 edition; 4 of the wooden version); the valve diagram and size marking have been revised (4 of the 1997 edition; 4 of this edition). The appendix of this standard Appendix A and Appendix B are normative appendices, and Appendix C, Appendix D and Appendix E are informative appendices. This standard is proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Tire and Rim Standardization. This standard is entrusted to the National Technical Committee for Tire and Rim Standardization for interpretation. The drafting units of this standard: Jiangyin Innovation Valve Co., Ltd., Shandong Gaoda Industrial Co., Ltd., Ningbei Haofeng Sike Auto Parts Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Wantong Valve Co., Ltd. 1 Scope
Tire Valve Series
This standard specifies the model marking, structural type and size specifications of tire valves (hereinafter referred to as valves). CB/I 3900--2003
This standard applies to the valves of tires for cars, trucks, industrial vehicles, construction machinery, tractors, agricultural and forestry machinery, and motorcycles, and also to the valves of tires for bicycles. This standard does not apply to valves for aircraft tires. 2 Normative references
The clauses in the following documents become the clauses of this standard through reference in this standard. For any dated referenced document, all subsequent amendments (excluding errata) or revisions are not applicable to this standard. However, the parties to an agreement based on this standard are encouraged to study whether the latest versions of these documents can be used. 3 Model marking
3.1 Product model
The product model representation method shall comply with the provisions of Appendix A. 3.2 Marking instructions
China Special Model marking
Two numbers indicate series specification code
Valve type (with inner tube or without inner tube) and rim hole diameter or slot width Letter code Valve shape (straight, single bend, double bend, triple bend or multi-bend) and letter code for nozzle external thread Small example 1: The nozzle body is straight. The nozzle thread effect is 8V1. It is suitable for inner tube valves with a rim hole diameter of 12.5mm and a series specification code of 8, marked as: CG08C.
4 Structural type and size specifications
4.1 The structural type and size specifications of the valve should comply with the provisions of Figures 1 to 61. 4.2 Threads 5V1, 5V2, 6V1, 8V1.9V1.10V1, 10V2, 12V1, 13V1.13V2., 17V2.17V3 shall comply with the provisions of GB 9765; threads 5CV and 8CV shall comply with the provisions of HG2912; threads NPT1/2 shall comply with the provisions of GB/T12716. 4.3 The types of valve core cavities shall comply with the provisions of Appendix B. The structural dimensions of core cavities 1A, 1B and 2 shall comply with the provisions of GB9764; the structural dimensions of the valve core cavities of bicycle inner tubes shall comply with the provisions of HG2942. 4.4 The valve cores of type H01SJI01I..II02S.II02L shown in Appendix B shall comply with the provisions of GB1795. 1
