1 General provisions
1.0.tThis specification is specially formulated to guide the pipeline downward welding construction, unify technical requirements, improve welding efficiency and ensure welding quality. 1.0.2 This code is applicable to the manual arc welding of all-position downward welding of the butt welds of oil and gas pipelines with a diameter of not less than Φ159mm and made of carbon steel and ordinary low-alloy steel. The downward welding of pipelines for other media can refer to this code. 1.0.3 In addition to complying with the provisions of this code, the downward welding construction of pipelines shall also comply with the relevant construction and acceptance specifications of the state and the industry. 2 Pipe materials
2.0.1 Steel pipes for oil and gas transportation shall comply with the requirements of the following standards: GB9711-88 "Spiral seam buried welded steel pipes for oil and natural gas transportation pipelines"
SY5297--91 "Straight seam electric resistance welded steel pipes for oil and natural gas transportation pipelines": GB8163--87 "Seamless steel pipes for conveying fluids". 2,0.2 When using foreign steel pipes, they shall comply with the provisions of Appendix A. 2
3 Welding materials
3.0.1 The welding rods used for all-position downward welding of pipelines shall meet the following standards and requirements. 3.01.1 The performance of the welding rods shall meet the requirements of GB5117-85 "Carbon Steel Welding Rods" - GB5118-85 "Low Alloy Steel Welding Rods". 3.0.1.2 The welding process performance of the welding rods shall meet the requirements of all-position downward welding of pipelines.
The selection of foreign welding rods for all-position downward welding of pipelines shall meet the requirements of Appendix B.
3.0.3 Selection of welding rods
3.0.3.1 Cellulose-type downward welding rods are suitable for oil and water pipelines, and low-hydrogen-type downward welding rods are suitable for gas pipelines.
3.0.3.2 Low-hydrogen-type welding rods shall be used for the fixed ports connecting two long pipe sections and for welding pipes and pipe fittings.
4 Storage of welding materials and pre-welding treatment
4.0, 1 Downward-facing electrodes for pipeline welding must have product certificates and quality certificates of the same batch number.
4.0.2 Downward-facing electrodes must not be corroded by moisture, rain, snow, frost, oil and other harmful substances before use, and should be stored in a dry and ventilated room. 4.0.3 Downward-facing electrodes should be dried according to the instructions before use. If the instructions are unclear, they should be dried according to the following requirements. 4.0.3.1 The drying temperature of low-hydrogen downward-facing electrodes is 360-400C, and the constant temperature time is 1 to 2h.
4.0.3.2 The drying temperature of ultra-low-hydrogen downward-facing electrodes is 400-450*C, and the constant temperature time is 1 to 2h.
: 4.0.3.3 Cellulose type downward welding rods should be dried if they are not well packaged or damp. The drying temperature is 70-80°C and shall not exceed 100°C. The constant temperature time is 0.5~~1h.
4.0,4 A dedicated person shall be responsible for the drying of welding rods and make detailed drying records. 4.0.5 The dried low-hydrogen and ultra-low-hydrogen downward welding rods shall be stored in a constant temperature box with a temperature of 100-50° and can be taken out as needed.
.0.6 The low-hydrogen and ultra-low-hydrogen downward welding rods used on site shall be stored in a good performance insulation cylinder for no more than 4 hours. 4.0.7 The downward welding rods that are not used up on the construction site on the same day shall be recycled and stored and used first after re-drying. The number of re-drying shall not exceed two times. .0.8 The downward welding rods with coating cracks, shedding and other problems that affect the welding quality shall not be used for pipeline welding.
5Welding equipment
5.0.「For on-site downward welding of pipelines, according to the welding material requirements and construction conditions, a DC flap welding machine should be used.
5.0, 2 The performance of the welding machine must be stable, and the power and other parameters should be able to meet the welding conditions. Welding process assessment and welder examination
6.0.1 The welding process assessment shall be carried out in accordance with SY4062-92 "Oil and Gas Pipeline Welding Process Assessment Method". The welding process assessment shall include the requirements for defect repair. 6.0.2 The downward welding welder examination shall be carried out in accordance with the "Storage Tank and Pipeline Welder Examination Rules".
7 Hui welding
7.1 Preparation before welding
7.1.1 Before the downward welding of the pipeline, the downward welding and defect repair process regulations shall be formulated according to the welding process assessment.
7.1.2 Electric welders participating in pipeline construction must hold a valid welder examination certificate.
7.1 .3 Before welding the pipeline, the oil, rust, moisture, sand, slag after gasification, scale and other debris on the 50mm surface of both sides of the groove, as well as the machining burrs on the inner side of the groove should be cleaned up, so that the inner and outer surfaces of the groove and both sides with a range greater than 10mm can show the metallic luster.

3 Welding materials
