This standard applies to deformed aluminum alloys, mainly hard aluminum alloys LY11, LY12, superhard aluminum alloy LC4 and forged aluminum alloys LD5, LD10, etc.
1 Instructions for use of conversion value tables
1.1 For specimens with uniform organization, the conversion values obtained according to Tables 1 to 4 of this standard are accurate. When the hardness of the plate is converted into strength according to this standard, if the requirements are strict, the processing characteristics must be considered and the conversion value must be appropriately corrected. 1.2 For the test piece with aluminum cladding, the aluminum cladding should be removed before testing and conversion. 1.3 For the test piece with general accuracy requirements, the strength value listed in the "deformed aluminum alloy" column in Table 1 is used for conversion. 2 Conversion table
