Summary:
This standard specifies the design, technical requirements, installation requirements, chlorine concentration detection, acceptance rules, inspection and maintenance of indirect (i.e. electrolytic cell) marine anti-fouling devices for electrolytic seawater. This standard is applicable to seawater electrolytic anti-fouling devices for steel ships, floating docks, offshore drilling platforms, etc. It can also be used as a reference for coastal factories and other places where marine biofouling occurs.
