This standard is equivalent to IEC745-2 -2 "Safety of Handheld Power Tools Part 2 Particular Requirements for Screwdrivers and Impact Wrenches" 1st edition 1982.
This standard should be used together with GB3883.1 "Safety of Handheld Power Tools Part 1 General Requirements". This standard lists the changes necessary to convert Part 1 into the "Safety Requirements for Screwdrivers and Impact Wrenches" standard. 1 Scope of application
Except for the following provisions, this chapter of Part One applies: 1.1 Replaced with:
This standard applies to hand-held electric screwdrivers and impact wrenches. 2 Definitions
This chapter of Part One applies except for the following provisions: 2.2.23 Paragraph 1.
is replaced by:
Normal load refers to the load reached when the tool is operated intermittently in the following cycles. Each cycle consists of a 1-minute continuous operation period and a 1-minute pause period when the tool is powered off. During continuous operation, the load applied to the tool should be such that the input power (W) is equal to the rated input power.
Note: During the test, the clutch mechanism can be replaced by a rotating mechanism so that a brake can be used to apply a load to the motor to reach the rated input power.

This chapter of Part I applies except for the following provisions: 16.2 For screwdrivers, the tests of Part I apply. For impact wrenches, the first part of the test is changed to: the impact wrench runs intermittently for 24 hours. Each cycle consists of a 5s no-load operation period and a 5s rest period when the tool is powered off. The test is performed when the power supply voltage is equal to 1.1 times the rated voltage. for 12h, and then for 12h when the power supply voltage is equal to 0.9 times the rated voltage.
After that, the impact wrench is run for 4 more operating periods, each of which is 6 hours. The interval between these four running periods is at least 30 minutes. During these four operating periods, the impact wrench is loaded with a brake calibrated to bring the impact wrench to its rated input power. GB 3883.2-91wwW.bzxz.Net
The test cycle consists of a 5s rotation period with the brake applying load and a 5s rest period when the tool is powered off. The test is conducted for 12h when the power supply voltage is equal to 1.1 times the rated voltage, and then when the power supply voltage is equal to 0.9 12h at times of rated voltage.
Note: If the mechanical action of the impact mechanism fails during this test, but the electrical safety is not compromised, a new impact mechanism can be replaced. Abnormal Operation
