1 Subject Content and Scope of Application
This standard specifies the rust prevention method for tractors. JB/T5177-1991
This standard applies to the rust prevention of tractors during storage and transportation after leaving the factory, and does not apply to the rust prevention process during the processing of parts. Reference standards

3 Rust prevention methods

Performance indicators of vapor phase antirust oil
3.1 The paint protection of all exposed parts of the tractor shall be carried out in accordance with the classification regulations of NJ226; galvanized or chrome-plated parts shall be lubricated in accordance with the relevant requirements of the product technical conditions.
3.2 Each lubrication point of the tractor shall be lubricated in accordance with the relevant requirements of the product technical conditions. 3.3 Inject vapor phase antirust oil that meets the requirements of JB4050 into the following boxes of the tractor. The filling amount shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the vapor phase oil product manual.
a. Crankcase:
b, gearbox, rear axle, final drive;
c. Hydraulic system (including hydraulic brakes); d. Front drive axle;
e. Steering gear, etc.
3.4 ​​After filling with vapor phase antirust oil, start the engine and keep it in a low speed state. a. Operate the lifter, brake, and steering gear; b. Operate the forward and reverse gears of the transmission;
c. Engage and disengage the power output shaft;
d. For tractors equipped with a front drive axle, engage the front drive axle. Repeat the above operations three times. The oil temperature of the transmission and crankcase should not exceed 65°C. 3.5 Cover the transmission vents and front drive axle vents with plastic film and tie them tightly with fine wire. 3.6 For tractors equipped with auxiliary lifting cylinders and steering cylinders, apply vapor phase anti-rust oil to the piston rod of the cylinder, cover the piston rod with a plastic sleeve, and tie it tightly with fine wire.
3.7 Drain the fuel in the fuel tank, inject vapor phase anti-rust oil, cover the filter cover, and cover it with plastic film and tie it tightly. The amount of vapor phase anti-rust oil to be added shall be carried out according to the specifications of its product manual.
3.8 Cover the chrome-plated or galvanized parts with plastic film and tie them tightly with fine wire. 3.9 Exposed oxidized (blue or black) parts, chrome-plated or galvanized parts should be painted with hard film anti-rust oil. Non-oil chambers (such as the inner chamber of the dry clutch housing and the inner chamber of the air storage cylinder of the air brake system, etc.) can be placed with gas phase corrosion inhibitors (tablets or pills, and the vents on the clutch housing should be sealed with plastic film.
