Designation of cast nonferrous metals and their alloys
Subject content and scope of application
GB/T 8063-- 94

This standard specifies the method of expressing the chemical element symbols and percentage content of cast nonferrous metals and their alloys. This standard is applicable to the designation of cast nonferrous metals and their alloys such as aluminum, magnesium, titanium, copper, nickel, cobalt, zinc, tin, lead, etc. 2 Reference standards
GB8170 Numerical rounding rules
3 Method of expressing the designation of cast nonferrous pure metals
The designation of cast nonferrous pure metals consists of "Z" and the chemical element symbol of the corresponding pure metal and a number indicating the purity percentage of the product or a short dash plus a sequence number.
4 Method of indicating the grade of cast nonferrous alloys
4.1 The grade of cast nonferrous alloys consists of "2\ and the chemical element symbol of the base metal, the symbol of the main alloying element (the symbol of the mixed rare earth element is uniformly represented by RE) and the number indicating the nominal percentage of the alloying element. 4.2 When there are more than two alloying elements, the alloy grade should list the element symbols and the nominal percentage numbers sufficient to indicate the main characteristics of the alloy.
4.3 The symbols of the alloying elements are arranged in descending order of their nominal percentages. When the nominal percentages are equal, they are arranged in alphabetical order of the element symbols. When the alloying element that determines the alloy category needs to be listed first, regardless of its content, the element symbol should be placed immediately after the base element symbol.| |tt||4.4Except for the nominal percentage of matrix elements, the nominal percentage of other alloying elements shall be marked after the symbol of the element. When the content of alloying elements is specified as a range greater than or equal to 1%, the rounded value of its average content shall be used. If necessary, it can also be marked with a number with one decimal place. When the content of alloying elements is less than 1%, it is generally not marked. Only alloying elements that have a significant impact on the properties of the alloy are allowed to mark their average content with one decimal place. 4.5Numerical rounding shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB8170. 4.6For alloys with the same main components that need to control low interstitial elements, ELI shall be marked in parentheses after the grade. 4.7For high-quality alloys with strict impurity limits and high performance, the capital letter "\A" shall be marked after the grade to indicate high quality. Approved by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision on July 19, 1994 288
Implemented on May 1, 1995
