Die casting copper alloys
GB/T 15116—94
This standard specifies the designation method, technical requirements and inspection methods of the grades and codes of die casting copper alloys. This standard is applicable to the manufacture of copper alloy die castings. 2 Reference standards
GB228 Metal tensile test method
GB231 Metal Brinell hardness test method
GB5122.1~5122.20 Brass chemical analysis method GB/T13822 Die casting nonferrous alloy test specimens
3 Grades and codes
3.1 Designation method
The grade of die casting copper alloy is composed of the chemical symbols of copper and the main alloying elements. The main alloying elements are followed by a number indicating their nominal percentage content (the nominal percentage content is the rounded value of the average percentage content of the element). The letters "YZ" ("Y" and "Z" are the first letters of the Chinese pinyin for "压" and "铜") are placed in front of the alloy designation to indicate that it is die-cast.
3.2 Method of expressing the code
The alloy is named according to the percentage of the nominal composition of the alloy, and the letters "YT" (the first letter of the Chinese pinyin for "压" and "铜") are marked in front of the alloy code to indicate the die-cast copper alloy, followed by a text description of the alloy classification, such as: YT40-1 lead brass, YT16-4 silicon brass, YT30-3 aluminum brass. 4 Technical requirements
4.1 The chemical composition and mechanical properties of the die-cast copper alloy shall comply with the provisions in Table 4.2. The mechanical properties of the die-cast copper alloy are the cast properties measured by a single-cast tensile test bar under certain process parameters. The size and shape of the specimen shall comply with the provisions of GB/T13822. 5 Test methods
5.1 Chemical composition
5.1.1 Chemical composition inspection is in accordance with the provisions of GB5122.1~5122.20. Under the condition of ensuring the accuracy of analysis, other methods are allowed to be used. The chemical composition should comply with the provisions in the table. 5.1.2 Chemical composition inspection frequency: one group of samples are taken for each furnace. If there are special requirements, it shall be agreed upon by the supply and demand parties. 5.1.3 If the chemical composition fails the first inspection, it is allowed to re-sample and analyze once. If it still fails, the alloy of this furnace is unqualified. 5.1.4 Chemical composition inspection can only analyze the main components, and impurities can be sampled according to the requirements of the demander. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on July 20, 1994 and implemented on July 1, 1995
Mechanical properties
GB/T15116-94
5.2.1 The tensile test method shall comply with the provisions of GB228. 5.2.2 The determination method of Brinell hardness shall comply with the provisions of GB231. 5.2.3 The inspection frequency of mechanical properties shall be determined by the supplier. If there are special requirements, it shall be agreed upon by the supplier and the buyer. 5.2.4 There are three samples in each group. If two of the three samples tested fail to meet the mechanical properties, it is allowed to use double the samples for the second inspection. If two of the samples fail to meet the requirements in the first inspection, but the total average value is qualified, the alloy of the furnace is considered qualified. If there are more than two unqualified samples, the alloy of the furnace is considered unqualified. 116
