GA/T556 "Financial Security Management Information Code" is divided into 10 parts: Part 1: Classification and code of positions of personnel related to security work in financial units; Part 2: Classification and code of cash transport vehicles; Part 3: Classification code of vaults; Part 4: Category code of financial units; Part 5: Coding rules for financial units; Part 6: Coding rules for savings banks (business outlets); Part 7: Coding rules for ATM machines; Part 8: Coding rules for vaults; Part 9: Coding rules for documents; Part 10: Coding rules for safety and security facility certificates. This part is Part 9 of GA/T556. This part is proposed by the Public Security Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security. This part is under the jurisdiction of the Computer and Information Processing Standardization Committee of the Ministry of Public Security. Drafting units of this part: Public Security Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, the 9th Division of the Public Security Department of Jilin Province, and Century Dragon Computer Software Development Co., Ltd. The main drafters of this part: Liu Wenxi, Yuan He, Liu Chengzhe, Qiu Wen. This part shall be interpreted by the Public Security Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security. 18

This part of GA/T556 specifies the encoding rules for files in the financial public security and protection information system. This part applies to the construction of the financial public security and protection management information system. 2 Normative references

For any dated referenced document, all subsequent amendments (excluding errata) or revisions are not applicable to this part. However, parties to an agreement based on this part are encouraged to study whether the latest versions of these documents can be used. For any undated referenced document, the latest version shall apply to this part.

File Coding Rules
File coding consists of 16 digits. The meaning of this code is: a) The first to the sixth digits indicate the province (autonomous region, municipality directly under the Central Government), city (region, league), district (county, banner) where the issuing unit is located, in accordance with the provisions of the administrative division code in GB/T2260; b) The seventh to the eighth digits indicate the category code of the financial unit, in accordance with the provisions of GA/T556.4; the ninth to the twelfth digits indicate the year of issuance, c)
d) The thirteenth to the sixteenth digits are the serial numbers of the issuance of the document by each district (county, banner). The coding structure is as follows:
