The maximum permissible concentration of wood dust with a free silicon dioxide content of less than 10% in the air of the workplace is 8mg/m3. 4 Monitoring and inspection methods
The determination of wood dust concentration and free silicon dioxide content in the air of the workplace shall be carried out in accordance with GB5748. 5 Supervision and implementation
Health administrative departments at all levels are responsible for supervising the implementation of this standard. Additional notes:
This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China. This standard was drafted by Harbin Medical University and Baoding District Health and Epidemic Prevention Station of Hebei Province. The main drafters of this standard are Liu Shuchun, Cang Enzhi, Hao Yongxian, Cheng Weinan and Wang Shizeng. This standard is interpreted by the Institute of Labor Hygiene and Occupational Diseases of the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine, which is entrusted by the Ministry of Health. Approved by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision on April 3, 1996 and implemented on September 1, 1996
