5 Socket welding method
The welded joint connected to the steel pipe by the socket welding method shall comply with the requirements of Figure 5-1f1, 4s

Neck butt welding flange
The welded joint and groove dimensions of the neck butt welding flange connected to the steel pipe shall comply with the requirements of Figure 6-1(a). If the straight edge of the neck welding flange exceeds the wall thickness of the steel pipe with which it is connected by more than 1mm, the straight edge of the flange should be thinned at the inner diameter, and the slope of the thinned section should be less than or equal to 1:3.
