Subject Content and Scope of Application
1.0.1 This standard specifies the type of rotary cylinder inlet and outlet box seal, cylinder diameter series, type code and technical conditions. 1.0.2 This standard is applicable to the sealing of rotary cylinder inlet and outlet boxes with dry and cold working cylinder diameters of 600mm~4200mm and cylinder outer wall temperature of 200℃ in chemical system. 29

2.0.1 For occasions with low sealing requirements and low operating pressure, labyrinth seal (MG) type can be selected. It has a simple structure, no contact surface, no wear problem, and is not affected by the movement of the cylinder.
2.0.2 If the sealing requirement is high, contact seal (JC) type can be selected. It has a small gap and good sealing effect. The wear between the static ring and the dynamic ring of JCS type is slightly larger, which will cause eccentric wear and sticking. 2.0.3 JCX type has a simple structure and is easy to install. The surface in contact with the dynamic ring is sprayed with polytetrafluoroethylene to reduce friction with the cylinder. It is recommended to use it first when the cylinder moves flexibly. 39

5 Technical conditions
5.0.1 The performance of the material used to make the seal shall meet the corresponding material standards. The material of gray cast iron castings shall comply with the provisions of GB9439-88 "Gray Cast Iron Parts", and the material of carbon steel shall comply with the provisions of GB700-88 "Carbon Structural Steel". 5.0.2 The castings shall be aged to eliminate internal stress. No defects such as pores, slag holes, sand holes, cracks, etc. are allowed on the mating surfaces of the castings after processing. Casting tolerances shall comply with the IT14 precision specification of GB6414-86 "Tolerances of Casting Dimensions" 5.0.3
5.0.4 Welding shall comply with the provisions of GB985-88 "Basic Forms and Dimensions of Weld Bevels for Gas Welding, Manual Arc Welding and Gas Shielded Welding". 5.0.5 Seal assembly shall comply with HGJ203-83 "General Regulations for Construction and Acceptance of Chemical Machinery Installation Engineering".
5.0.6 Installation
5.0.6.1 The moving ring connecting plate and the cylinder of the labyrinth seal are arc welded, with radial runout ≤5mm, and the static ring is connected to the inlet and outlet box with bolts. 5.0.6.2 The labyrinth ring spacing error of the labyrinth seal is ≤2mm. 5.0.6.3 The contact unit pressure of the contact seal friction surface = 0.001~0.0015MPa.
