4 Material and hardness
The material is selected by the manufacturer, and 45 steel is recommended; hardness 28 HRC～32 HRC.

6 Marking
The supporting columns according to this part should have the following markings: a) supporting column;
b) types of supporting columns A, B;
c) diameter D of supporting column, in millimeters;
length L of supporting column, in millimeters;d
e) code of this part, i.e. GB/T4678.18-2003. Example 1:
A-type supporting column with D=40mm and L=80mm is marked as follows: Supporting column A 40×80
