Determination of volatiles in Y·Fe2O3 magnetic powder
Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the method for determining volatiles in Y·Fe2O3 magnetic powder for magnetic recording. HG/T2347.4—92
This standard is applicable to the determination of volatiles in Fe2O3 magnetic powder and modified Y·Fc,O3 magnetic powder for magnetic recording. Method summary
Dry the Fe,0 magnetic powder sample to be tested at 105±2℃ to constant weight, and calculate its volatile matter. 3 Instruments
3.1 Constant temperature drying oven: can be set at 105±2℃; 3.2 Balance: reading accuracy is 0.0001g, maximum load is 200g. 3.3 Dryer: filled with effective desiccant;
3.4 Weighing bottle: flat
Measurement steps
Take at least two samples for parallel measurement. Take 10±1g:Fe,0, magnetic powder sample (accurate to 0.0001g) and evenly spread it on the bottom of a weighing bottle (3.4) that has been weighed at 105±2℃ in advance, cover it with a lid, weigh the total amount (accurate to 0.0001g), then put the bottle cap upright at the bottle mouth, put it in a constant temperature drying oven (3.1) at 105±2℃, keep it for 2h, take it out and immediately cover it, transfer it to a desiccator (3.3) to cool to room temperature, weigh it (accurate to 0.0001g), heat it again for at least 30min, cool it in the desiccator (3.3), and weigh it: repeat this operation until the difference between two consecutive weighings does not exceed 0.005g, and record the lower weighing value. Calculation of the test results
The mass percentage of volatile matter (X) is calculated as follows: X
Where: mo—mass of the sample, g
m—mass of the dried sample, g.
6 Allowable difference
The allowable difference of the parallel test results of this method is less than 10%X100 of the higher value
Take the arithmetic mean of the parallel test results as the test result, and report it accurately to the second decimal place. Approved by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China on June 1, 199212
