This standard is a revision of CB3143-83\Dog type cable clenches". Introduction
This standard changes the tongue-pin fixation used in the original standard to prevent accidental disengagement when the cable clenches are tightened, and changes to a convex type with a watertight cover to fix the door. Due to the addition of a watertight cover, the weathertight performance is good. This standard will replace CB3143-83 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed by the National Technical Committee for Ship Equipment Standardization. This standard is under the jurisdiction of Jiangnan Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd. The initiator of this standard: Dalian Shipyard New Plant. The main drafters of this standard: Meng Weixuan, Zhang Ping, Shen Yueping. This standard has a unified construction drawing.

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, inspection rules and markings of clenches and anchor abandoners. This standard applies to clenches and anchor abandoners for secondary and tertiary anchor chains with a chain diameter of 52~120mm. 2 Referenced standards

3 Product classification
3.1 Clenches The structural type and main dimensions of the anchor abandoning group are shown in Figure 1 and Table 1. Approved by China State Shipbuilding Corporation on April 30, 1999 and implemented on August 1, 1999

4 Technical requirements

Hinges shall meet the requirements of Jc2 in CB/T3728; spiral clips shall meet the requirements of K, in CB/T3728. 4.2
4.3 The surface of the parts shall be smooth and shall not have defects such as burrs, scars, inclusions and cracks. 4.4 The flexibility of the anchor opening shall be checked after manufacturing. 4.5 The surface of the anchor shall be painted red.
4.6 The flushing test of the anchor shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of CB3273. The base plate of the warning sign is yellow; the font is red. 4.7
Inspection rules
5.1 The anchor-abandoning device shall be inspected according to the requirements of 4.3, 4.4 and 4.5. 5.2 The anchor-abandoning device shall be subjected to a water flushing test according to the requirements of 4.6. 6 Marking
The marking of the anchor-abandoning device shall include the following: a) Manufacturer's name;
b) Model and standard number;
c) Inspection certificate.
