GB/T 4549.5——2004 GR/T4549 "Railway Vehicle Vocabulary" is divided into 3 parts: Part 1: Basic Vocabulary; Part 2 Running Gear; Part 3: Braking Gear; Part 4: Coupler Buffer and Windshield Device; Part 5 Car Body; Part 6: Doors, Windows and Opening and Closing Devices; Part 7: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Devices; Part 8: Water Supply and Drainage Devices; Part 9: Electrical Devices; Part 10: Passenger Car Accessories; Part 11: Special Freight Car Accessories. This part is Part 5 of GB/T4549 Railway Vehicle Vocabulary. This part replaces GB/T4549.5—1984 "Railway Vehicle Terminology Car Body". Compared with GB/T4549.5-1984, the main changes of this part are as follows: the terms of stainless steel car body, aluminum alloy car body, equipment compartment, etc. are added; the equivalent terms and related figures of flat car end beam, side beam and movable side wall are added; Chinese index and English index are added.
Appendix A of this part is a normative appendix. In Appendix A, reference drawings of the following devices and English equivalents of related vocabulary are given: - car body;

This part is proposed by the Ministry of Railways of the People's Republic of China. This part is under the jurisdiction of the Standard Metrology Institute of the Ministry of Railways. The drafting units of this part are: Tangshan Locomotive and Rolling Stock Works, Standard Research Institute of the Ministry of Railways, Qiqihar Railway Rolling Stock (Group) Co., Ltd., Beijing Erqi Rolling Stock Works, Xiaoshan Rolling Stock Works, Changchun Passenger Car Works, Xi'an Rolling Stock Works. The main drafters of this part are Sun Bangcheng, Song Yinchuan, Yao Shenglao, Wu Shengquan, Ma Jijun, Shuai Shuqing, Sun Yan, Qi Bing, Yu Huibin, Zhang Wei, Wang Sai, Zhang Jifen and Xiao Huishi.

Part 5: Carbody
This part defines the terms of the carbody parts of railway vehicles. This part is applicable to standards, technical documents and scientific and technological publications related to railway vehicles. 2 Carbody
Carbodycar body

Accommodates passengers, cargo, spare parts, etc. Supported by the running gear, it mainly plays a load-bearing role and is a component of the vehicle. 2.2
Stainless steel carbodystainless steel carbodyCarbody The carbody is made of stainless steel in all or most of its load-bearing parts. 2.3
Aluminum alloy car bodyaluminum alloy car hodyA car body whose body parts are all or mostly made of alloy. 2.4
A closed container used to carry liquid, liquefied gas or powdery goods in a tank car. It can be divided into vertical tank and horizontal tank according to different installation methods. 2.5
Duniping hox
A container for loading goods supported by the chassis of a self-turning car and can be overturned. It is usually composed of a chassis, end wall, side wall, etc. 2.6
Steel structuresteel structure
A car body structure made of metal materials.
Interior decurationInterior decuration is installed inside the steel structure of the car body and is used for decoration and the structure that carries other parts. For example: the interior decoration of the roof and the interior decoration of the side wall. 2.8
Steel-wood composite structure Steel-wood composite structure A structure composed of steel load-bearing beams, wooden beams and columns and (or) wooden boards. 2.9
Thin-shelled cylindrical structure A structure with a closed cylindrical cross section, such as the steel structure of the body of an all-steel passenger car, the tank structure, etc. 2.10

Pressure-shaped member to prevent water from flowing from the roof of the vehicle to the wall or door. 2. 13
Water tank supporting beamIn the water supply device, a beam is provided to support the water tank. 2. 14
Hepper
In the hopper car, it is used to prevent the loading of goods.
Hatch is the opening for lifting heavy equipment.
Loading hatch
"refers to the door for loading goods on the vehicle, usually with locking and button sealing devices. 2. 17
Ventilate device
The device used to balance the pressure of two isolated spaces in the tank. 2.18
Draintap
The valve set in the upper air chamber of the powder cargo tanker for discharging compressed air used when loading cargo. 2.19
Manhole
The device set on the upper part of the tank body for workers to exit. 2.20
Steam Jackel
The lower part of the tank is a device installed before containing the heated steam. 2.21
