ECS 47.020.05 National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T 17557 -- 1998 IEC92-351:1983 Ensulating materials for shipboard power cables Issued on November 9, 1998 Implementation on June 1, 1999 Issued by the State Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision GB/T17557—T998 This standard is formulated based on Part 351 of the International Standard for Electrical Equipment (1953 edition) published by the International Electrical Association No. 92 and the Notice of Revision No. 1 (1992 edition), and is equivalent to the international standard in terms of content. When converting the international standard IEC92251 into the national standard, the reference list is added, and the second chapter of TEC52.351 is changed to the third chapter. The article number is changed accordingly, but the content remains unchanged. This standard is implemented from June 1, 1990, and from December 1, 1999, all marine power cables are required to meet the requirements of the standard.
This standard is issued by China National Aviation Industry Corporation, and this standard is under the jurisdiction of the Seventh Research Institute of China Light Industry Corporation. The drafting units of this standard are: the Seventh Research Institute of China New Industry Corporation, the Seventh Research Institute of China New Industry Corporation, the Cable Research Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry, the 11th Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, and the Ship Cable Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation.
