The maximum permissible concentration of diatomite dust containing more than 10% free silicon dioxide in the air of the workplace is 2mg/m2. The maximum permissible concentration of diatomite dust containing less than 10% free silicon dioxide in the air of the workplace is 10mg/m2. 4 Monitoring and inspection methods
The determination of diatomite dust concentration and free silicon dioxide content in the air of the workplace shall be carried out in accordance with GB5748. 5 Supervision and implementation
Health supervision agencies at all levels are responsible for the implementation of this standard. Additional Notes:
This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China. This standard was drafted by the Institute of Labor Hygiene and Occupational Diseases of Jilin Provincial Health and Disease Prevention Center. The main drafter of this standard is Huang Dewei.
